My mechanical and industrial engineering background allowed me to work on diverse research topics prior to finally specializing in fire engineering. I’m fortunate to have been exposed to projects ranging from robotics, material engineering, supply chain modeling, all the way to algorithm design for safer fire evacuation from buildings (the latter being my master’s thesis). I enjoy abstracting and modelling dynamic and multivariate engineering problems.
