Academics

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the American University of Sharjah (AUS) with a BSc. in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Applied Physics in 2018. In the same year, I was admitted to the Tau Beta Pi and Pi Tau Sigma honor societies. Then, in August 2020, I earned an MSc. in Engineering Systems Management from the Industrial Engineering Department at AUS while being a full-time graduate teaching and research assistant. Shortly after, I worked as a research assistant for the Industrial Engineering department at my alma mater until May 2021.

In September 2023, I joined the department of Wood Science at the University of British Columbia as a PhD student, with a focus on modeling and optimizing the performance of mass timber structures in fire.
